The Bishop Visits & MLK Jr Day

Bishop John C. Bauerschmidt made his annual visit to Episcopal School of Nashville as a part of our Martin Luther King Jr Celebration Chapel. We heard a message from Chaplain Charlie about the life of Martin Luther King Jr and were reminded of what his compassion-based protests offered not only to Nashville, but the entire Civil Rights Movement.

On the following Monday, we had a few families participate in the Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship’s 31st Anniversary MLK 2020 event at Tennessee State University. Families participated in a march and convocation on TSU’s campus.
