After School Programs and Athletics

Resources

ESN offers after school programs that serve as an extension of the school’s mission. We endeavor to offer a variety of activities that align with the needs and interests of our diverse student population while continuing our dedication to nurturing the joy of learning and the spirit of discovery in each student.

Each activity will have its own fees and scheduling. Please watch the ESN Weekly Blast for registration information. Sign up at the bottom of this page.

We would like all students who are interested to be able to participate in our after school programs. If the cost of an activity is prohibitive for your family, please contact the office for discussion about financial aid.

CREATIVITY CLUB with Molly’s Music

Learn to look at the world in a unique way, and practice daily habits that spark the creative muscle! Not solely an art class or a writing class, this club will teach students the daily habits that creators use to think differently. In Creativity Club, we’ll do activities such as making an art project with an object you would normally throw away, finding an object you pass by each day without noticing and writing a poem about it, and decorating and keeping an "idea" notebook to draw inspiration from. Grades 1-4. $125/student.

Meets from 4-5 p.m. on the following Thursdays:

  • May 9, 16

Email Molly's Music with questions.

MOCK TRIAL with Mrs. Haile

Mock trial is designed to introduce students to our legal system by providing a challenging, academic competition. The program offers students an opportunity for personal growth and achievement, emphasizing the importance of research, presentation, and teamwork.  Specifically, enrolled students will learn basic mock trial lessons including opening statements, direct/cross examination, evidence presenting, objections and closing arguments.

Email Mrs. Jennifer Haile with any questions.

NATIONAL BETA CLUB with Mrs. Haile

National Beta Club provides opportunities and experiences to impact our members, their schools, and communities across the world.  We’re the largest, independent, educational youth organization in America. Our four pillars include academic achievements, character, leadership, and service.

Email Mrs. Jennifer Haile with any questions.

We sing music in a variety of genres and students will develop skills in musicianship, basic music theory, ear training, healthy vocal technique and breathing. Grades 3-6.

Purple Marin Choir meets on Mondays. Last meeting is May 20.

Email Ms. Meyers with questions.

We would like all students who are interested to be able to participate in our after school programs.
