Tuition
A 10% of tuition registration deposit is due with the enrollment contract to reserve your space. The tuition deposit is non-refundable; however, it is credited towards tuition and is not an additional charge.
Parents and/or guardians may elect to pay the tuition balance in three (3) ways. Please click the button above to review payment options on the 2025-26 Tuition Rate Sheet. Our tuition management school ID is: 114513.
Financial Aid
ESN's financial aid program operates as a last-dollar scholarship. This means financial aid is awarded after considering all other available funding sources, including the Tennessee Educational Savings Account (ESA) program. For families considering applying for financial aid, the financial aid application must be completed before your contract will be sent out. Contact admissions@esnashville.org with any questions.
Deadline to apply is Saturday, February 15
Apply via Blackbaud Financial Aid Management by logging into https://studentfinancialaid.blackbaud.school using your Blackbaud login. Our school five-digit code is: 15478. Upload your most recent tax return as part of the application. A $55 fee applies.
Friday, February 21: Financial aid decisions will be released, and updated contracts will be available in Blackbaud.
Education Freedom Savings Program (EFS)
2025–2026 School Year Policy
1.Overview
Families approved for the Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS) may apply these funds toward tuition and required fees at Episcopal School of Nashville (ESN).
Full ESN Tuition: $16,400
Required Fees:
ESN Admin Fee: $250
Tuition Refund Plan (TRP): $377.20 (2.3% of tuition)
Technology Fee: $200
Blackbaud Enrollment Fee: $56
Total Fees: $883.20
Total Financial Obligation (Tuition + Fees): $17,283.20
Note: Final tuition owed reflects your enrollment agreement after financial aid. All billing and EFS use will be based on that adjusted amount.
2. How EFS Funds Are Applied
EFS funds must first go toward:
Contracted tuition (after financial aid)
Required school fees listed above
If EFS covers your full balance and you’ve already paid out-of-pocket, those payments will be:
Credited to other ESN charges (e.g., aftercare, clubs, re-enrollment), or
Refunded upon request
3. EFS Disbursement Schedule
EFS awards for 2025–2026 are projected at $7,295, distributed by the state in quarterly installments. Families must log into the EFS portal each quarter to approve disbursements.
Important Notes:
EFS funds belong to the family and are not automatically sent to ESN. Families decide whether/when to apply EFS funds to ESN.
EFS payments will be treated like any other form of payment once received and will be applied to your student’s account accordingly.
Funds may also be used in the EFS Marketplace after tuition/fees are paid.
4. Payment Scenarios
A: Family Is Using EFS and Has Not Paid in Full
Tuition will be deferred to align with EFS disbursement timing.
Required fees will be billed on ESN’s regular schedule, but families may choose to use EFS to cover those charges.
Any prepayments will be credited or refunded if EFS covers full balance.
B: Family Paid in Full Before Receiving EFS Funds
EFS funds will be applied retroactively.
Once tuition/fees are covered, any overpayment will be refunded or credited.
5. Extended Care, Clubs, & Lunch
These optional services are billed separately and can only be paid with EFS after tuition and required fees are fully covered. Registration will be shared after your contract is signed.
6. Additional Notes
The Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) is required for families not paying full tuition upfront; it’s billed at 2.3% of contracted tuition and included in your first invoice.
ESN does not control the timing or release of EFS payments. Families must approve disbursements in the portal each quarter.
The Business Office reviews accounts quarterly and applies EFS funds as they are received.
If EFS fully covers tuition and fees, any previous out-of-pocket payments will be credited or refunded.
Families are responsible for any remaining tuition balance not covered by EFS.
Late fees will not be charged on balances pending approved EFS payments, as long as families remain in good standing and approvals are completed on time.
